A running commentary on everything horror, from movie and book reviews to discussions on directors, festivals, and much more. Grab a bag of popcorn, a pint of blood and enjoy!
I have been an avid fan of horror films of all types since I was a young child. From the Universal horror classics like Dracula, Frankenstein and The Mummy to Romero's Night of the Living Dead to the Friday the 13th franchise, to more current films such as House of the Dead, Cabin Fever, Wrong Turn, and Hatchet, I have always enjoyed clicking off the lights, grasping a bucket of popcorn and bracing for a shock. There's nothing quite like a good cinematic scare.
Having been writing since elementary school, I often find the process of filling the white space with ink similar to that of passing a kidney stone. I write because I MUST write. The characters develop in my head and putting them on paper is somewhat therapeutic. I currently write novels and screenplays and will soon attempt to put together a local film festival.
Stay tuned for future films I have planned as well. If you're not busy, you might be dead.
Well...I still have to clean this blood off of me and put the knife away. Enjoy the blog!
